L.E.D LIGHT Therapy
Scientists have been studying the power of LED (light emitting diodes) light therapy for over 30 years. First used in the medical field to treat cancer and other ailments, further research found that LED light therapy could be used in cosmetic applications to promote skin healing, cellular activity and anti-aging benefits.
The Benefits of LED Light Therapy
Red: Beneficial for enhancing cell activity building collagen and elastin production. Also aids in reducing inflammation within the tissues, quickening the healing process. Red light therapy users have reported a noticeable reduction in the appearance of pores and fine lines and wrinkles.
Blue: Effective for mood enhancement and reducing acne, and sun damage. Blue light therapy is used to stimulate the production of oxygen radicals to kill bacteria (preventing and reducing acne occurrence) and minimize enlarged oil glands.
Yellow: Is best known for skin cell rejuvenation and it’s soothing, anti-inflammatory benefits. It also boosts lymphatic flow, which removes toxins and waste from the skin, and promotes anti-aging.
Green: Offers calming, anti-inflammatory benefits to help reduce hyperpigmentation and sun damage, Can help reduce the appearance of Freckles, age spots, reddish or brownish skin patches.

Facial Peels
Chemical peels are great for improving elasticity, reducing wrinkle depth, minimizing fine lines, decreasing age spots, improving acne and enhancing and brightening skin tone.
Our Preferred Line: PCA Peels
PCA Peel Treatments Are the gold standard of chemical peels. These treatments are designed to work in treating acne, aging skin, hyperpigmentation and overall appearance. Each client will be analyzed and customized a regimen and treatment to individuals needs and goals. PCA peels are recommended every 4 – 6 weeks along with pre and post treatment care. This allows for outstanding results.
Preparation for a Peel
For best results and to reduce the risk of complications, it is recommended that you use PCA SKIN daily care products 10 to 14 days prior to treatment.
If you are lactating, pregnant or may be pregnant, only an Oxygenating Trio® or Detox Gel Deep Pore Treatment is appropriate. Consult your OB/GYN before receiving any treatment. Do not go to a tanning bed two weeks prior to treatment. This practice should be discontinued due to the increased risk of skin cancer and signs of aging. It is recommended that extended sun exposure be avoided, especially in the 10 days prior to treatment.
It is recommended to delay use of tretinoin, Retin-A®, Renova®, Differin®, Tazorac®, Avage®, EpiDuo™, Ziana® and high-percentage AHA and BHA products for approximately five days prior to treatment. Consult your physician before temporarily discontinuing use of any prescription medications.
PCA SKIN superficial peels result in little to no downtime but create dramatic and visible results. Treatments may cause slight redness, tightness, peeling, flaking or temporary dryness. Most patients find it unnecessary to apply makeup, as the skin will be smooth, dewy and radiant following your treatment. If you would like to apply makeup, allow approximately 15 minutes for the pH of the skin to stabilize before applying foundation.

The hair removed during this exfoliating treatment does eventually grow back, just like the new cells revealed by the treatment eventually become dead skin cells.

Will my hair grow back thicker?
It's biologically impossible for hair to grow back thicker because of shaving. After removing the vellus hair, your skin will instantly feel and look smoother and brighter. It will take about a week to 14 days for the hair to grow back, at which time you can dermaplane again.
